Portfolio
This lens is an example of a previous project. It is 0.9 numerical aperture microscope objective lens where the specimen being imaged is immersed in water. It is diffraction limited across it's entire 0.5 mm field of view. The design is doubly telecentric since it is used in a measurement application. It has aprochromatic color correction across the wavelength range of 785 nm to 850 nm. It was designed to be compact so that it could be packed in mechanics with a standard RMS thread. A complete set of drawings was produced, elements and mechanics were procured and the lens is currently in daily use.
